Trying something new - 19weeks

How far along?  19 weeks 2 days

Total weight gain/loss:  up about 4-5 lbs

How Big is Baby?  8.5 oz

Stretch marks?  Yes, too many.  They have been around for over a month now.

Sleep:  Better with the snoogle.  But I keep waking up on my stomach.

Movement:  Possibly - feeling little vibrations and pops on my right side.  All suspected movements have been on the right side so far.

Food cravings:  Milk, Silk & chocolate.  DH went out and got a Chocolate Marshmallow Malt...delish!

Food aversions:  Hamburger, any ground meat (texture) & cooked broccoli (smell) :(

Symptoms:  Back ache, hip & tail bone aches.

Belly Button in or out? Very in, VERY.

What I am looking forward to: Half way mark!  I get to be home with K and C all week :)

Weekly Wisdom:  Water and feed the cravings ;)

Weekly Joy:  I think I am feeling baby move.

18weeks

It has been quite the week.

I was out of town (4 hours away) for the week.  Most of the time when I am staying in hotels, I have no trouble sleeping.  Not this time!
Who was up at 3:30am daily?  ME!
Who could not fall back asleep, at all?  ME!!
There were even enough pillows to pile them all around me.  Still, No Sleeping!  OYE

So when K told me that my Snoogle (a big pregnancy pillow), showed up in the mail....well actually he said "I think your pillow is here.  Well it is a big box & it is light weight.  So I am assuming it is your pillow."  Since that is the only thing I have ordered, I am sure he is right.  As soon as I am finished with this post, I will bust open the box.  Pretty sure I will also be practicing how I will use it.

As far as the baby goes, all the tests came back with no known abnormalities in either the ultrasounds or blood work.  We could not be more thrilled!!!  Now if I could just start feeling the little one move.  Hopefully this will happen soon, since word on the streets (HA!) is that you are supposed to be able to start feeling them move by the 20th week.

Okay, that box is just way to tempting!
~ Until next time

Another lazy Sunday - 16w2d

Quilt
So I have been working on this baby quilt for over a month now.

The front is put together, the batting, backing and edging are in a bag on the dining room table; just waiting to be put together.  Every weekend will be "the weekend" it gets put together.  Not sure what is keeping me from just doing it.  HMM?

Quite honestly, the possibilities are endless...

Is it because it is only the second one I have ever put together?  Maybe
Up Close
Is it because I am worried about starting the next step, since I have only seen it done in a blog?  Very likely - especially since I am not sure how to lower the presser foot...not that a little experimenting with my machine would not solve that problem.

Is it the infertile in me who is slightly terrified?  Quite possibly

The most likely answer is that I am a bit lazy.

So why am I putting this down in my blog?  Maybe I will feel accountable to finish; especially since K is the only other person who knows my dirty, little, quilt secret.
